Our beautifully refurbished clubhouse hosts a great variety of member's events throughout the year. Our members enjoy everything from live televised sport from the Premier League to Wimbledon, all the way through to live music nights and special themed dining evenings. Whatever the event, fun is always the number one aim. Saffron Walden Golf Club enjoys a wonderful atmosphere at its events because of the support of a relaxed, fun and supportive group of members. Senior Captains Away Day 11th August

Join the Seniors Captain on his away day.
• Date - Thursday 11th August 2022.
• Venue – Mid Herts Golf Club Wheathamstead Hertfordshire AL4 8RS. Nestled in the Hertfordshire Countryside offers a classic heathland combined with a friendly clubhouse. www.midhertsgolfclub.co.uk
• Format – Handicap Allowance 85%. 4BBB mixed Stableford match between the past Seniors Captain team and the present Seniors Captain team playing for The Captains Away Day Cup. The pair with the best Stableford score in each four ball at the end of the match will be awarded 1 point. Teams will be determined by the organisers. Prizes for 1st and 2nd pair with the highest BBB score. There will be nearest the pin prizes.
• Cost – £59.50 which includes coffee and bacon roll on arrival at 9.30 with first tee off at 10.30. 18 holes of golf, two course lunch. Sign up now, payment will be taken on 4th August from your clubhouse account.
