Societies

Our course is locally renowned as being one of the best, and societies always enjoy coming to visit us. As well as our challenging and picturesque course, we offer catering facilities that are hard to surpass.  We are very proud of our Carvery dinner, which is known as being the best in the area!

We only have limited availability for society days so if you want to visit us please do get in touch fast. The plus side of having a small and exclusive group of annual societies means we can really spoil you. We make sure the organiser recieves a little thank you, and the winners recieve a trophy.

In this section

Some people don’t like to finish with a short hole, but I think the 18th at Saffron Walden is a very strong hole. In fact, all the par-3s there are good. The 5th is the signature hole with a great view, I like the pot bunker on the 7th and the 11th has a very narrow green. It’s an extremely pleasant place to play golf.
