Description

One of the best holes on the course, a long iron into the green is usually the norm. As is common on the course, out of bounds can again be found left, so favour the right hand side. A tricky approach to a long 2-tiered green then awaits you!

Pro's tip

Best angle into this green is from the left of the fairway. Choose your club wisely to negotiate the ridge that runs through this green.

Mature parkland, it’s superb. The par-5 3rd is a good hole up the hill and the 17th is strong too, but I like the par-5 that runs along the bottom to end the front nine. The perimeter of the course stretches down to the right-hand side and the tee shot is all important, calling for a draw into a sloping fairway. You must hit the fairway here to give yourself a chance of going for the green.
