Description

A much more demanding tee shot from the white tees than the yellows, a number of balls will end up in the semi rough due to the camber of the fairway. Beware of a thin approach shot to the green, as the Halfway House is just about within striking distance!

Pro's tip

A drive at the marker post will leave a relatively straightforward shot to a green that is well guarded by bunkers and runs from left to right as you play your approach.

Mature parkland, it’s superb. The par-5 3rd is a good hole up the hill and the 17th is strong too, but I like the par-5 that runs along the bottom to end the front nine. The perimeter of the course stretches down to the right-hand side and the tee shot is all important, calling for a draw into a sloping fairway. You must hit the fairway here to give yourself a chance of going for the green.
