I found Saffron Walden very picturesque, well designed and in excellent condition. The 5th hole really stuck in my mind. A fabulous par-3 from a tee high on the hill that gives you a great view across to Audley End House. Not a long layout, but the greens are such that if they tuck the pins away, it can be very challenging indeed. I really enjoyed it.
