Pro ShopFrom a convenient location opposite the changing rooms the club professional, Philip Davis, and his friendly team provide a full range of golf tuition, golf clubs and accessories to members and visitors.

The shop is open 7 days per week from 7.30am to 7.00pm in the summer and from 8.00am to dusk in the winter.

The shop is extremely well stocked with all the top brand names and the staff will be delighted to help you with any of your golf purchases.

To ensure that his customers get the best value for their money Philip is a member of a consortium of 200 golf professionals that act collectively to buy from the major manufacturers.

In addition to the goods on offer in the shop Philip also offers:

  • Buggies and electric trollies for hire.
  • Tuition 7 days per week, individual or groups
  • Prompt club repair.
  • Free club trial with no obligation to buy.

Flight Scope

The FlightScope X2 is the most advanced launch monitor that is available today. The unit utilises a Doppler radar system that is used in the defence industry to track aircraft missiles and in much the same way it tracks the ball's flight. This allows us to accurately see the launch angle and the spin rates of the ball during the flight. By optimising these details we are able fit the you with the perfect club for your game!

Explanar Golf Training

ExplanarSaffron Walden Golf Club recently purchased the internationally acclaimed Explanar Golf Training System. This system improves consistency, accuracy, distance and power through the use of an adjustable swing plane hoop and a power roller. As we have both the adult and junior machines, this can enable golfers of all ages to improve their game.
